August Training Focus – Move Strong, Move Well
At MetroEast, we believe that movement should give you more — more strength, more confidence, more energy for the things (and people) you love.
That’s why our August Legends programming continues to focus on building real-world strength, heart health, balance, and mobility. Whether you’re picking up grandkids, carrying groceries, walking the golf course, or just wanting to feel better in your body — these workouts are for you.
We follow a 10-day rotating schedule, which means every workout is fresh, purposeful, and part of a bigger plan. And this month, we’ve shuffled the rotation slightly to make sure strength days hit different weekdays each week — giving your body new opportunities to adapt and recover.
Here’s what to expect:
- Lower Body Strength (Deadlift): Helps improve posture, stability, and safe lifting ability.
- Upper Body Strength (Overhead Press): Builds shoulder health and daily pushing strength.
- Functional Fitness: Full-body movement circuits designed to improve balance, endurance, and carry-over to everyday life.
- Cardio Days: Low-impact intervals with bikes, rowers, slam balls, and carries — heart-healthy and joint-friendly.
- Mobility / Balance / Agility: Focused movement control to help you move with confidence and reduce fall risk.

Reminder: Every movement is coach-led, scaled to your ability level, and done in a small-group setting where support, safety, and community come first. You don’t have to be perfect — you just have to keep showing up.
