February Group CLass Previews
Group Fitness
We’re continuing the strength cycle we kicked off in January, focused on helping athletes build consistency, refine movement quality, and gain confidence under the bar as we move through late winter and into early spring.
The primary lifts for this cycle are:
- Back Squat
- Shoulder Press
- Deadlift
Rather than testing all lifts in a single session, each lift is tested individually at the beginning and end of the cycle. This approach allows for safer loading, better execution, and clearer insight into progress—especially for newer or returning athletes.
Strength work is intentionally capped at under 20 minutes per class, keeping sessions efficient and sustainable while allowing athletes to train hard without unnecessary fatigue.
This cycle is also structured with the CrossFit Open in mind. Early weeks rebuild volume and confidence, loading is intentionally lighter and more technical during Open weeks, and strength builds back up afterward to set the stage for new PR opportunities. Weekly barbell cycling alternates between Snatch and Clean & Jerk with an emphasis on technique, efficiency, and manageable volume.
The goal of this cycle is to keep athletes healthy, confident, and progressing through the Open and beyond, while laying a strong foundation for long-term success.
Legends
Our upcoming Legends cycle is focused on building real-world strength, balance, and confidence that carries into everyday life.
Training centers around simple, repeatable strength movements like goblet squats, incline dumbbell presses, glute bridges, and rows. These lifts repeat intentionally throughout the cycle so members can learn the movements well, progress safely, and build lasting strength without feeling rushed.
Each class also includes:
- Supportive accessory work for posture, core stability, and joint health
- Intentional balance training built into warm-ups or conditioning
- Sustainable conditioning designed to improve heart health and endurance without burnout
Once per week, Legends classes will include an optional, scaled CommUNITY Cup prep workout to help members feel confident and prepared heading into the February 27th kickoff.
Legends is about moving well, aging well, and staying strong for life — with expert coaching, thoughtful programming, and a supportive community every step of the way.
Ladies Bootcamp
February in Ladies Bootcamp focuses on simple strength, smart conditioning, and consistency — helping you get stronger and sweat without feeling run down.
Each week follows a clear, supportive structure:
- Two classes per week
- One upper-body focused day
- One lower-body focused day
You’ll see familiar movements week to week with small progressions in reps, tempo, or accessories so your body can adapt and build strength without feeling overwhelmed.
Every class includes:
- A purposeful warm-up to prep the muscles we’re training
- Strength-first training with a main lift and supportive accessory work
- Short, approachable bodyweight conditioning
- Core work built into every session
- A brief cool-down because recovery matters
Galentine’s Bring-a-Friend Week (Feb 9 & 11) will feature partner-style workouts designed for fun, built-in rest, and encouragement — no pressure and no awkwardness.
Ladies Bootcamp is ideal for women who want structured, coach-led workouts, a supportive environment, and a sustainable approach to getting stronger. No experience required — just show up and move.
